Privacy Policy

Frisson Digital, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SCREENBot mobile app, Mac desktop app, and the screenbot.app website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Waitlist sign-up. When you submit your email address through the screenbot.app waitlist form, we collect your email address and the date of submission. This is processed via Netlify Forms and stored in our Netlify account. We do not collect any other personal information through this form.

App usage. SCREENBot processes screenshots locally on your device. Screenshot images are never transmitted to our servers. We do not collect, store, or analyze the content of your screenshots.

Licensing. The Mac desktop app communicates with our licensing server to validate your license key. This transmits your license key and a machine identifier only — no personal information beyond what you provided at purchase.

Analytics. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or pixel tracking on screenbot.app.

How We Use Your Information

  • Email addresses collected via the waitlist are used only to notify you about SCREENBot beta access and product updates.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • License and machine identifiers are used solely to validate and enforce license terms.

Data Retention

Waitlist emails are retained until you request removal or we close the waitlist program. You may unsubscribe from any email we send or contact us to request deletion.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process limited data on our behalf:

  • Netlify — website hosting and form submissions
  • Google Cloud Platform — backend API and licensing infrastructure
  • Apple App Store — mobile app distribution (governed by Apple's privacy policy)

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at support@frisson.digital. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

SCREENBot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of SCREENBot after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
