Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of SCREENBot, including the iOS app, Mac desktop app, and the screenbot.app website, all provided by Frisson Digital, Inc. ("Frisson Digital," "we," "us," or "our"). By using SCREENBot you agree to these Terms.
License to Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SCREENBot for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit SCREENBot.
The Mac desktop beta is licensed on a single-user basis. Your license key activates the app on up to two Macs you personally own or control. Sharing license keys is prohibited.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble SCREENBot
- Use SCREENBot to process screenshots containing content you do not have the right to process
- Attempt to circumvent license validation or any technical restriction
- Use SCREENBot in any way that violates applicable law
Beta Software
The SCREENBot Mac desktop app is currently in beta. Beta software may contain bugs, be unstable, and change significantly before general release. We make no guarantees about the availability, reliability, or feature completeness of the beta. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the beta at any time.
Intellectual Property
SCREENBot and all related software, design, trademarks, and content are the property of Frisson Digital, Inc. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Disclaimer of Warranties
SCREENBot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that SCREENBot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Frisson Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profit, or business arising out of or related to your use of SCREENBot, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for SCREENBot in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to SCREENBot at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using SCREENBot at any time. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of SCREENBot after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
